These antique French upholstered beds always look very comfortable, note carving top and bottom of foot board and on legs. Each one is individual and different from the next. A double bed will fit internally, or we could extend rails for a stepped base and mattress for king size or we could extend to super king. Please call or e mail to discuss your requirements. We can supply wood slatted bases or upholstered divan bases and shaped mattresses in all comfort choices

The upholstered bedstead has been a perennial favourite in France during the last 100 years and, as a result, has been made in large numbers. We will normally, therefore, have a number of examples in our collection, in various styles and sizes.

Upholstery

Some beds retain their original fabrics, condition permitting. However, we do offer an upholstery service.
In this way our customers are able to select a fabric of their choice and participate fully in the restoration process.
Bed frames are offered in natural wood finishes, a wide range of paint effects or can be hand polished to work with your existing furniture.
