French upholstered painted frame bed

This lovely bed with it's three paneled foot end would take a double mattress internally or a stepped king size, the original blue and cream paintwork could be cleaned and waxed or it could be repainted in your colour choice.

The upholstered bedstead has been a perennial favourite in France during the last 100 years and, as a result, has been made in large numbers. We will normally, therefore, have a number of examples in our collection, in various styles and sizes.

Upholstery

Some beds retain their original fabrics, condition permitting. However, we do offer an upholstery service.
In this way our customers are able to select a fabric of their choice and participate fully in the restoration process.
Bed frames are offered in natural wood finishes, a wide range of paint effects or can be hand polished to work with your existing furniture.
