Simple wood finish 1930s upholstered French bed

1930's French upholstered bed with carved detail at bottom of foot board and good shaping to legs and side rails.Price includes cleaning and making of frame to support base and mattress, which we can also supply if needed. We could reupholster for an additional £150.

The upholstered bedstead has been a perennial favourite in France during the last 100 years and, as a result, has been made in large numbers. We will normally, therefore, have a number of examples in our collection, in various styles and sizes.

Upholstery

Some beds retain their original fabrics, condition permitting. However, we do offer an upholstery service.
In this way our customers are able to select a fabric of their choice and participate fully in the restoration process.
Bed frames are offered in natural wood finishes, a wide range of paint effects or can be hand polished to work with your existing furniture.
