We will make a matching capping strip for the rails and extend to the 200cms length. The price includes the work and the cleaning and waxing of the wood that will add lustre to the detailing whilst retaining the patina. Walnut wood

Walnut is the primary hardwood for some of the finest antique furniture.
The wood is moderately heavy, very strong, and exceptionally stable. The colour varies from light gray-brown to dark purplish-brown, patterns from plain to highly figured.
The wood is readily polished and develops a rich patina that grows more lustrous with age.

Louis XV Style

Curving lines, cabriole legs, an asymmetrical design and ornate carving of natural forms; shells, flowers are the key elements of the Louis XV style. These Rococo influenced beds became popular in Europe in the late Nineteenth Century.
