Henri 11 style bed made from rosewood in good condition with classic columns and carving including spectacular central garland and coronet detail in the head. A very handsome center piece with lovely colouring in the wood detail in the quarter veneer. We can supply handmade bases and mattresses in all comfort choices.

Bedsteads are offered in natural wood finishes, a wide range of paint effects or can be hand polished to work with your existing furniture.

Rosewood

Rosewood is a general term used for a collection of timbers of similar figure, and was particularly popular in Empire and Victorian furniture.
Commonly a dark brown or reddish brown wood, with prominent darker streaks. All rosewoods are strong, hard and heavy, and can easliy be finished to a high luster.
