Absolutely Stunning Iron and Brass French King Size

Possibly one of our favourite French classic iron and brass beds we have seen in some time. The brass formation on the foot end is simply stunning with a clover shaped central brass detail with very nice rod ends to mount the connecting ironwork. The lovely Clover shaped castings and clamps match the brass beautifully and are all in good detail and condition. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, restored and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Farrow and Ball’s Off Black, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All of our beds can be re-painted in any colour of your choosing. As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply platform and sprung bed bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on a 2” bed base with our Chartres mattress. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections.
