Lovely simple pair of dormitory / utilitarian single iron beds with very pleasing and simple design. Very sturdy and long lasting. Can be joined to make occasional King size width bed. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Jack Black, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for small single mattresses 2’6” X 6’3” / 75cm X 190cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. Though for this pair of beds, we would recommend having with slats due to the lovely overall lower profile of this fab pair. The bed is photographed on slats with our Bordeaux mattresses.
