This lovely French bed has all original brass, the finals are particularly attractive. The foot end has five lovely spindles and the head end has one sitting centrally. Very nice detail in the castings which have a nice foliate decoration. A lovely lower height to this bed, making it a great choice for smaller rooms, attic rooms, or rooms with a view. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Little Greene’s Olive. Gently dark waxed and buffed well to protect and shine. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard King Size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on a 2” base with two of our Bordeaux mattresses, zip and linked together. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections.
