A gorgeous example of French brass beds of this era. All Original square tube brass has timelessly stylish and classic shaping to the frame, with square tube uprights and delightfully shaped spindles. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, tightened and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard European double mattress 140cm x 190cm or could take a UK double mattress 4’6” x 6’3” / 135cm x 190cm. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on 2” slats with our Bordeaux mattress.
