Truly stunning and lovely French king size caned Bergere bed. Particularly attractive fluted columns with pretty decorative foliate carvings, with geometric/twisted ribbon carving across the frame and siderails. Original naturally aged paint work has been cleaned and waxed to preserve. The cane has been replaced so it is strong, practical and beautiful. Strong cane work renewed and waxed to preserve. As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on slats with one of our Montpellier mattresses.
