A gorgeous super-king-sized Victorian iron and brass bed, with particularly nicely shaped original oval brass discs, which are lesser seen making them especially unique. These along with the original knobs, collars and rod end, which we have cleaned and highlighted to tone beautifully with the colour of the bed. Very nice proportioned and a gorgeous bed which will endure the test of time. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, restored and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Sage Green, lightly dark waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen and tonal variation.
