Incredibly pretty Iron and Brass King Size with Lovely Castings

An incredibly attractive king size bed, with some of my favourite castings seen on a bed, they are very attractive and all in good detail. A lovely lower height for the head end panel, and of course the no end foot making this a lovely choice for smaller rooms, attic rooms or rooms with a view. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Nether Red, gently dark waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen and tonal variation. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard king size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress or curtains). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on a 2” base with our Bordeaux mattress.
