Lovely All Original Art Nouveaux Style Iron and Brass Double

A very nice double bed with brass top rail on the head and foot. Nicely shaped Ed caps at the top of all 4 posts and very sweet little brass rod ends at the top of each iron upright. The central brass detail on the foot has a classic art nouveaux style pomegranate detail which has been pressed into the brass and hammer chased. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. This bed is powder coated Black which is in good condition. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard double mattresses 4’6 x 6’3” / 135cm x 190cm or could take a 140cm wide mattress. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with our Bordeaux mattresses.
