Gorgeous iron and Brass Victorian King Size bed with very nicely detailed castings and clamps, which have a lovely star/flower design. Both the head end and foot end have two upstands, all with original brass rod ends. Brass has been aged to tone and also given a highlight. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Pompeian Ash with a heavy dark wax finish to protect, shine and give a mottled tonal variation throughout the bed. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard King size mattress 150cm x 200cm / 5’ x 6’6” Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed 2” base with our Montpellier mattress.
