This stunning Victorian bed has a fabulous amount of detail, Very attractive castings with original brass plates/facings. The head end also has additional detail on three of the uprights, with very nice castings and further brass plates. The foot end also has three brass discs on three castings, adding a further touch of detail. Very nice detail and condition of brass and castings. A truly beautiful bed. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Little Jack Black. Waxed and buffed well to protect and shine. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard Super King Size mattress 6’ x 6’6” / 180cm x 200cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on a 2” base with two of our Bordeaux mattresses, zip and linked together. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections.
