This fabulously classic Edwardian super king size bed is incredibly attractive, timeless and tasteful and always a solid choice for a wide variety of settings and homes. A lovely choice for ones ‘forever bed’. This bed has gorgeous original brass caps on the posts, the tops of which are painted black to match the bed. Overall, a very nice bed with lovely proportions. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in a Little Greene’s Jack Back, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard Super-King size mattress 6’ x 6’6” / 180cm x 200cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply platform and sprung bed bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on a 2” bed base with our Canterbury mattresses. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections.
