This lovely double bed has square tube posts and urn shaped finials. All original brass. Lovely shaping in the panels round tube ironwork. The head and foot also have a fabulous iron claw and brass ball decoration. Further brass decoration in the foot end consists of a lovely scroll shape which sits centrally and atop the unique geometric shaping of the panel. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, tightened and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard Double mattress 4’6 x 6’3 / 135cm x 190cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on 2” slats with our Bordeaux mattress.
