A very nice classic Victorian Straight Rail bed with original Brass knobs and collars. The post collar detail has a particularly nice half dome design. Lovely proportions and attractive floral castings, all in good detail. The central upstand is a hoop shape with two dots on either side, again in good detail. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, restored and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Jewel Beetle and Chocolate, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen.
