Attractive all brass single bed made by Scoolbred suitable for standard single mattress 90cm x 190cm. Pretty design with original castors. Makers label on foot bar. Naturally aged patina has been cleaned and waxed to preserve. The store was established in the 1820s at 155 Tottenham Court Road selling textiles for home furnishing. In the 1870s the store began designing, manufacturing and selling high quality furniture. The company ceased trading in 1931. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattresses) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. Price each £135 for 5cm depth(as used for photograph) /£195 for 10cm depth. We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £150 -£525 each.
