Amazing 1930s Art Deco walnut bed originating from England with beautifully detailed, veneers and striking central decoration of vase of flowers in head crafted from gorgeous marquetry and mother of pearl. And then there is more ...hidden within the foot board is a mirror and dressing table. How individual is that! The bed has been cleaned and polished and is in good condition for its age. There is slight foxing in the original mirror as can be seen in the photographs. The bed has its original wooden side rails which have been adapted to support a modern length king size mattress a 150cm x 200cm . Price includes pine wood slats (sorry not mattresses) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply platform top mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. Price each £225 for 5cm depth £250 for 10cm.
