A very nice bed indeed. The castings on this bed are mong one of my favourites, with an almost eye like shaping, castings of this style and shape are lesser seen and are particularly attractive. All in good condition and detail. The brass has been cleaned and highlighted to match the bed. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, restored and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Lute and Rolling Fog Pale, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply platform and sprung bed bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
