Beautiful newly upholstered king size French Louis XV1 style bed with lovely original naturally aged paintwork which has been cleaned and waxed to preserve. Individual design with very good detail foliate carving central and base of foot board. Fluted columns with carved decorative infilled at base and foliate carved corners.Original side rails have been adapted to support modern length king size mattress 150cm x 200cm. inside the rails or could take a European 160cm x 200cm on top of the rails. All new upholstery finished with very pleasing natural French linen with close nail edge. Price includes pine wood slats (sorry not mattresses) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £250 -£850each.
