This beautiful Victorian double bed has lovely shaping and panel in both head and foot. Delightfully shaped floral castings and foliate detail clamps, all in good condition and detail. Professionally restored with all joints checked for a solid and secure fit. The siderails have been adapted to be able to take slats or a bed base. Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Atelier Ellis’ Fallen Plum colour waxed over to protect and give a gentle shine. Suitable for standard Double mattress 135cm x 190cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with one of our Bordeaux mattresses. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
