Celtic Style Victorian All Iron King Size

A lovely king size all iron bedstead. Likely an English bed with traditionally Celtic/Irish stylings. Lovely shaping on the head end with gently curved corners which surround the very attractive panel which has round iron bar presented in a lovely diamond shape, with a solid iron cast flower sitting centrally. Gorgeous clamps and castings, with lovely cut our and geometric shaping. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Jack Black, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard king Size mattress 150cm x 200cm / 5’ x 6’6” Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on a 2” bed base with our Chartres mattress. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections.
