Classic Victorian brass and iron with drop

Classic Victorian English 5Ft king size brass and iron bed with dropped foot panel. Really good details in the flier de lys decorative castings. Aged Bell cap collars with round knobs. Please do look at close up images to appreciate. The bed has been sympathetically restored with rails adapted to support wood slats and king size mattress 150cm x 200cm. The frame has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish in Little Greene paint company Lamp Black and the naturally aged brass has been lightly cleaned. Lovely timeless bed that is a great piece pf history and suits multiple settings. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.Used in photograph.
