Early Napoleon style c1830 king size solid mahogany bed with gilded applied decorative motifs. Lovely feel ancient bed. Small missing pieces of gilded decoration consistent with age (could be carved and replaced, please enquire if required) Turned spindle posts head and foot with brass foot and bolt cover detail. Rails adapted to suit modern king size mattress 150 cm x200 cm. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" solid top mini box base (as used in photograph) for an additional £225. Some customers prefer these for a superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. We also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices.
