Early Victorian Iron and brass

Very lovely early Victorian iron and brass bed with very individual cast central motif and curved iron details. Good definition in decorative castings. Professionally restored with strengthened, extended and adapted to support wood slats to suit a king size 150cm x 200cm mattress. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Green paint company Dorchester pink. Original solid brass knobs cleaned with natural aged patina preserved. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base (used in photograph). We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site.
