All brass foot board with slightly curved detail in foot please see lovely sweeping collar.very attractive star detail in joints in foot board mirrored in castings in head board. Original porcelain castors. Very very good quality bed. Aged brass has been cleaned and polished to preserve and iron work which had traces on original green has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finishing in most similar green to original; Little Greene paint company Obsinian Green with wax over.
