Fabulous early upholstered French Lit Bateau king size bed suitable for a 5' x 6'6"/150cm x200cm mattress size inside the rails or could have a 5'3" x 6'6" mattress on top of the rails. The rolls on the head and foot end are particularly graceful and this lovely shaping continues throughput the bed. The original paintwork is attractively naturally aged.Carved detail is subtle and well executed.Side rails discreetly extended to fit 200cm length mattress comfortably. The French tapestry fabric is in good usable condition. The frame has been cleaned and waxed to preserve and the fabric has been carefully cleaned and freshened. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) We can also supply mini box bases 2"/4" with platform top or 4"with springs for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
