Traditionally made using peg and tenon construction and fielded panels. Flower baskets with bows featured on both the head and foot, lovely floral carvings feature roses, flax/periwinkle style flowers and sunflowers alongside lovely foliate carvings down to the cabriole legs. A lovely and beautiful bed. The siderails have been sympathetically strengthened and lengthened to take a modern super king-sized mattress 150cm x 200cm. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
