This bed is truly gorgeous, featuring tapered posts with delightful gently cupped finials atop. A lovely blend of round and square brass tubing, the bed has a beautiful and naturally aged patina. The head and foot features lovely oval shaping. This style of bed is attributed to the Arts and Crafts Movement, indicative of beds sold by the likes of Liberty and Co. The naturally aged brass has been sympathetically cleaned to bring out/highlight and preserve the beautiful patina. Whole bed has been checked to ensure solid construction and good assembly Side rails have been adapted to support wood slats and modern length and king size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
