Gorgeous Brass and Iron Double

An homage to Bedstead’s past, this fabulous antique bed is actually one we restored over 30 years ago! We still love this original bedsteads paint finish, so we have generally re-zhuzhed, via cleaning, repairing and touching up the paint. The lovely original antique brass has been cleaned and highlighted. The colours used have been hand mixed to expertly match the original bedsteads paint finish. We can happily send more photos and video if useful to get a sense of the colour. Suitable for standard double size mattress 4’6” x 6’3” / 135cm x 190cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with one of our Bordeaux mattresses. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
