Gorgeous Porcelain Detail Victorian King Size

This absolutely gorgeous Victorian king size bed is truly stunning. Attractive gallery shaping on the head and foot. Lovely detail in the decorative castings and clamps. The brass has been cleaned and highlighted to preserve patina, original spindles, Rod ends, and shell/lotus shaped facings. Original Porcelain is in very good condition and has imagery of what appears to be Morning Glory or Petunia flowers with soft green foliage. The frame has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Little Greene’s Jack Black colour with wax over to protect. Whole bed has been checked to ensure solid construction and good assembly Suitable for standard King size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. Photographed with 2” bed base and our Bordeaux mattresses.
