An incredibly attractive all iron bed with gorgeous shaping. The head end has a gently curved shape with the panel featuring a unique interlocking circle design all connected by nicely shaped castings with a calligraphy style swirls and scrolls. All in good detail. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in a Little Invisible Green, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard double size mattress 4’6 x 6’3” / 135cm x 190cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply platform and sprung bed bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with our Bordeaux mattress. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections.
