Handsome Louis XVI style king size carved solid oak bed with fielded panels. Good heavy quality. Decorative piecrust edge shaped fielded panels in foot with relief carved vase of flowers in centre. The bed has been professionally cleaned and waxed to preserve lovely rich patina. Side rails have been adapted to suit full length king size mattress. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. Photograph taken with 2" deep mini box base. We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices.
