Handsome king size mahogany and fruit wood French bed with parquetry and ormolu detail. Very nice brass stringing detail and brass detail even within the feet. The bed has been re finished and carefully French polished maintaining original patina and depth of colour.Side rails have been extended to support standard king size mattress 150 cms x 200 cms (5' x 6'6") Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) Alternatively we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support /to raise get into bed height. Either 2" deep with a platform top for £225 (Photograph taken with 2" base)or 4" deep if higher get into bed height preferred. We can also supply hand made mattresses in various feels.
