Handsome Victorian brassed iron bed

Handsome Victorian brass and iron bed with original naturally aged brass including central ring decoration with spindle, brass beehive caps, feet, knees and husks and knobs and collars. It is very rare to find a bed with such decoration in such good condition. The bed has been sympathetically restored, with rails extended and side rails adapted to support wood slats and suit a modern length king size mattress 150cm x 200cm /5' x 6'6". Joints have been checked for good fit and the iron work has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish in Jet black with wax to preserve for another hundred years.
