This stunning bed has nice simple circular iron castings, on the head end the central casting has a lovely brass disk detail. The foot end has multiple brass disks on the castings with three larger circular castings with impressively detailed brass which reminds us of sunflowers. All in good detail and condition. Nicely shaped clamps and feet. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard Super King Size mattress 6’ x 6’6” / 180cm x 200cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on 2” base with two of our single Bordeaux mattresses, zip and linked together.
