Lovely French king size caned bergere Louis XVI style bed. Lovely carved shape with very nice quality foliate carvings. Original naturally aged paint work has been cleaned and waxed to preserve. Painted gold cane work pleasingly aged and faded in good condition. Also waxed to preserve. Side rails have been adapted to support modern length king size mattress 150cm x 200cm Price includes pine wood slats (sorry not mattresses) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. Photograph taken with 5cm platform base and price £225.We can also supply 4" deep base for £275cm.
