This Victorian classic straight rail bed has all original brass with incredibly attractive Saturn shaped knobs and a fabulously lower profile, making it the perfect choice for smaller rooms, rooms with a view, or great for rooms with sloped ceilings. Pretty clamps with great detail and attractive circular castings. A lovely bed indeed. Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in a mix of Little Greene’s Lamp Black colour, waxed and buffed well to protect and shine. Suitable for standard Double mattress 4’6cm x 6’3” / 135cm x 190cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with one of our Bordeaux mattresses. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
