Magnificent king size Victorian brass and iron bed with stunning original naturally aged brass fan/peacock tail decoration, with collars and knob and knees It is very rare to find a bed with this much decoration in such good condition. The bed has been sympathetically restored, with side rails adapted to support wood slats and suit a modern length king size mattress 150cm x 200cm . Joints have been checked for good fit and the iron work has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish in Jet black with wax to preserve for another hundred years. Price includes pine wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
