Newly upholstered king size French Directoire style bed with lovely original naturally aged paintwork which has been cleaned and waxed to preserve. Very nice shaping in the frame with fluted columns and vase carving. Original side rails have been adapted to support modern length king size mattress 150cm x 200cm. All new upholstery with pale green linen fabric with double piping edge. Price includes pine wood slats (sorry not mattresses) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. Price each £225 for 5cm depth We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £250 -£850each. Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years.
