Pair of brass and iron by Maple and Co

Very special pair of classic single Victorian brass and iron beds by Maple and Co with copy of original bill of sale. Sold to a householder in Launceston in 1892. Very sympathetically restored with hand finish in white with naturally aged cleaned brass. Attractive details in decorative castings. Brass knobs, collars, knees , husks, feet and spindles . Original porcelain castors. This pair of beds are supplied with new traditional ticking bases. The beds can be pushed together to make an occasional use super king size bed. Ideal for superior guest room. Suitable for single mattress size 3' (90cms) x 6'3" (190 cms) Price includes 2" platform top bed base as shown in pictures; sorry not mattress.
