Pretty French caned bergere bed with floral garland carvings and pineapple knobs. Original paintwork has been cleaned and waxed to preserve natural ageing. Cane in good condition with one small historical repair. Side rails extended to support modern king size mattress 150cm x 200cm /5' x 6'6". Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattresses) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. Photograph taken with 5cm platform base and price £225.We can also supply 4" deep base for £275cm.
