The frame has been carefully restored with joints checked and side rails adapted to form low end and support wood slats. The frame, which has lovely evidence of natural ageing has been shot blasted prior to hand finish in jet black and waxed to preserve, Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base for £225. (used in photograph) We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £250-£750. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site. Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years.
