Simply pleasing French all iron double no end bed with light appearance and sturdy construction. Really nice simple individual detail in the decorative casting. This bed has been sympathetically adapted and restored with side rails extended and fashioned to support wood slats and modern double size mattress 135cm x 195cm./4'6" x 6'3" The aged iron has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish with Little Greene paint company Jet Black and waxed to preserve. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base (Used in photograph). We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site. Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years. We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol. Workshop/store open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Saturday by arrangement
