Spectacular Victorian king size all brass half tester bed with lovely decoration in the foot end of engraved brass disc and garland brass surround. Posts are decorated with brass knees, husks, elbows and collars. Original white porcelain castors. This lovely bed has been checked for well fitting joints and rails have been adapted to support wood slats and a standard king size mattress 150cm x 200cm/ 5' x 6'6" . The bed has been professionally restored having been stripped and re built to to ensure all connections are secure and there are no rattles.Brass cleaned to preserve natural aged patina. This really is a one off individual antique bed.
