Spectacular Victorian king size all brass half tester bed with lovely swooping rail and foliate decoration. Lovely chunky feet, knees, collars and knobs at head end. Curtain rail support with pretty wings for drapes if desired. Original black porcelain castors. This lovely bed has been checked for well fitting joints and rails have been adapted to support wood slats and a standard king size mattress 150cm x 200cm/ 5' x 6'6" . The bed has been professionally restored having been stripped and re built to to ensure all connections are secure and there are no rattles.Brass cleaned to preserve natural aged patina. This really is a one off individual antique bed. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
