Stunning and Sturdy King Size Portuguese

This stunning Portuguese bed has a central wire trellis detail, which we have gently gilded, along with the lovely central cast detail featuring a hand softly holding a floral arrangement. The symmetrical curves add yet more detail to this beautiful bed. Joints have been checked for good fit. The frame has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in beautiful Little Greene Paint company Boxington and Sage, with gilding detail on the trellis and central casting. Waxed to preserve and give a soft sheen. Sympathetically restored with rails extended to suit modern king size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) We can also supply mini box bases in either 2" with platform top or 4" with springs for better mattress support and get into bed height.
