A lovely choice for ones ‘forever bed’. This bed has gorgeous original brass caps on the posts, the tops of which are painted black to match the bed. Overall, a very nice bed with lovely proportions. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, restored and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Jack Black, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All of our beds can be re-painted in any colour of your choosing. As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply platform and sprung bed bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
